Dark Chocolate Pieces with Brazil Nuts, Sesame and Tahini
Who says you can't make rich chocolate bars at home? Noa Levi offers a particularly sweet recipe that serves as a wonderful treat, snack, or dessert. In any case, it will simply disappear.
Ingredients (20x30cm pan)
- 225 grams cocoa paste
- 150 grams cocoa butter
- 100 grams maple syrup
- 60 grams roasted Brazil nuts, finely chopped
- 30 grams whole sesame seeds
- 40 grams El Arz tahini
Instructions
- At least 4 hours before serving: put the cocoa paste and the cocoa butter into a
heatproof bowl and melt over a pot of boiling water. Add the maple syrup and stir.
Remove from heat and let cool for 5 minutes. - Add the Brazil nuts to the chocolate along with the sesame seeds and mix. Allow the
mixture to cool for about 10 minutes. - Lightly grease the pan, pour in mixture and flatten it with a spoon or back of a knife.
Drizzle the tahini on top and create a marble-like pattern on the mixture by using a
toothpick or chopstick. - Cover the mold with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
- Break into pieces of the desired size and serve.
